This picture on loan from Councillor David Jones shows the Gun Tower Front Street Pembroke Dock prior to the addition of the present footbridge...but can you identify the children ?  To help with the date you can just glimpse the tail of a Sunderland peeping out from behind the tower

  • i believe that the children in the photos are Carol Young and Christine Davies who lived at 16 and 15 Front st at that time :sheila rees
  • think it may be a photo of carol young and maybe christine or elaine Davies (both of front street) :  jan reed-harrison
  • David Davies' mother has cracked it. She suggests that it is Pauline Lynton and David also confirms it. She lived they thought but weren't entirely sure in or near 17 Front Street.  : David at the Dock
  • We know one is Carol. We'll check with Hannah Young although I've a feeling that she's not too sure.: David at the dock
